£15. Flat. You keep the rest.

Claim letter

£15

  • ✓ Addressed to the airline’s claims department
  • ✓ Cites the article and the amount owed
  • ✓ Answers the airline’s likely objection with case law
  • ✓ PDF, Word and copy-and-paste
  • ✓ What happens next, and where to escalate

Refund policy

If the airline rejects your claim on eligibility grounds, we refund the £15. Forward us their reply and we refund within five working days.

  • · It counts if the airline says compensation is not owed for your flight, whatever reason they give — extraordinary circumstances, "outside the scope of the Regulation", notice periods, anything that amounts to "you are not eligible".
  • · It does not count if the airline asks for more information or documents you can supply, or if the facts you gave us turn out to be materially wrong — for example, the real arrival delay was under three hours.
  • · Claim the refund within 12 months of buying the letter, by forwarding the airline’s written reply to us.
  • · You keep the letter either way, and nothing about a refund stops you escalating the claim yourself.

What you keep

Per passenger, against an agency keeping 2535% (many add VAT on top of that).

Amount kept with Delayed versus a claims agency
ClaimAgency at 25%Agency at 35%Delayed
250188163250 for £15, once
400300260400 for £15, once
600450390600 for £15, once

What an agency does for its cut that we do not: it sends the claim and chases the airline for you. With Delayed you send the letter yourself and read the replies. For most people that is one email and a little patience.

Common questions

Is £15 per passenger or per booking?

Per flight check. One letter can claim for every passenger on the booking — add their names before you send it.

Who processes the payment?

Lemon Squeezy, as merchant of record. They take the payment, handle VAT in your country and send the receipt. We never see your card details.

What if my claim is not eligible?

Then we will not sell you a letter. The paywall only appears when the rules say compensation appears to be owed, or where the airline has claimed an exemption that is worth challenging.

Do you take anything from the compensation?

No. The airline pays you directly. We are never in the middle of the money.
