Refund policy
If the airline rejects your claim on eligibility grounds, we refund the £15. Forward us their reply and we refund within five working days.
What counts
- It counts if the airline says compensation is not owed for your flight, whatever reason they give — extraordinary circumstances, "outside the scope of the Regulation", notice periods, anything that amounts to "you are not eligible".
- It does not count if the airline asks for more information or documents you can supply, or if the facts you gave us turn out to be materially wrong — for example, the real arrival delay was under three hours.
- Claim the refund within 12 months of buying the letter, by forwarding the airline’s written reply to us.
- You keep the letter either way, and nothing about a refund stops you escalating the claim yourself.
How to ask
- Email with the link to your letter (it is in the email we sent you) and the airline’s written reply — forwarded, pasted or as a screenshot.
- We reply within two working days and, if it qualifies, refund within five.
- The refund goes back to the card you paid with, through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record.
Why we offer this
We charge for drafting a letter, not for winning a claim, and we cannot control what an airline decides. But our verdict is the reason you paid, so if the airline says the rules do not give you compensation, it is fair that you get your money back. It also keeps us honest about the verdicts we give.
Your statutory rights
When you buy the letter you ask us to prepare it straight away, and you acknowledge that the usual 14-day right to cancel a digital purchase ends once it has been drafted. This policy is separate from, and in addition to, your statutory rights: if the letter is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy regardless of what the airline does.
